My love for reading began when I was a little girl. I remember getting into trouble in kindergarten for choosing to read instead of taking a nap! My mother was a huge influence on me—she always had a book in hand and taught me that reading is one of the best things you can do. After a long day, there's nothing better than unwinding with a good book. I believe that reading is an escape, a way to truly connect with characters—sometimes, it feels like they become your friends.
